Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
This policy explains what geo.wikiseo.ai collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We operate the Service (Roman Melnyk / Wikibusines). Questions or requests: rommelnyk@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
Account data: your email address and a hashed password (or a Google sign-in identifier). Brand data you enter: brand name, aliases, website domain, the prompts you track, competitors, and any context you add. Public data we read about your brand: what AI engines say about it, Wikipedia articles, Reddit threads and search results. Usage: basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use it
To run your scans, compute your score, build reports and recommendations, send you transactional email (address verification, password reset, weekly digests, renewal reminders), process payment, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your data.
3. Who we share it with (subprocessors)
To measure visibility we necessarily send your prompts and brand name to third-party providers, and use others to run the platform:
- AI engines — OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), Perplexity — receive your prompts to generate the answers we measure.
- DataForSEO — retrieves Google AI Overview results for your prompts.
- FetchLayer — reads public Reddit threads about your brand.
- Resend — sends our transactional emails.
- Monobank — processes card payments (we never see or store your card details).
- Hetzner — hosts the application and database (EU data centres).
Each provider processes the data only to deliver its part of the Service, under its own terms and privacy policy.
4. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and brand data, except where we must keep limited records (e.g. payment records) to meet legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time — email rommelnyk@gmail.com and we’ll action it. If you’re in the EU/EEA, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Security & international transfers
We take reasonable measures to protect your data (hashed passwords, encrypted transport, access controls), but no system is perfectly secure. Some providers above (e.g. the US-based AI engines) process data outside the EU; by using the Service you understand your prompts and brand name are sent to them to produce your results.
8. Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
